For more detailed course information continue reading below. To enrol onto the course tap the enrol button and submit the form.

Are you interested in developing your interpersonal skills or starting your journey to become a counsellor?

Then this course is for you.

Our course material is designed to provide students with the fundamental information, skills, and competences required to better understand the counselling role. You will learn necessary counselling techniques and how to demonstrate or apply them, in a variety of settings and positions, both ethically and in a safe manner.

This course is also an opportunity to develop and improve both personal and professional relationships. It can also help assist you in gaining employment in a supporting role and to enhance your skills.

Our Level 2 course is led by qualified and experienced counsellors, and it is classroom-based. We believe this to be an important aspect, because the in-person element will enable you to understand the nuances of in-person counselling. It will also enable classmates to have open discussions regarding experiences, counselling approaches, and enhance the ability to socialise and practice with peers. The course will have a strong focus on interactive learning which will involve group work and practice skills.

The training involves learning about utilising counselling within a helping role as well as learning about yourself. A significant aspect of the course is personal development, and as part of this course you will be required to submit a journal every week and discuss your growth.

In order to conclude your training, you are required to complete a candidate portfolio which includes:

Reflective journals

Group projects

Counselling skills assessment
