Faced with facts and figures such as these, Clothes Swap Chepstow began as a community initiative set up to reduce textile waste, raise awareness of the effects of the fast fashion industry and to become part of the circular fashion economy by increasing clothing utilisation.

We held our first clothes swap in April 2022 with more following throughout the year which included a Halloween costume swap and a school uniform swap.
